Why HanStone Quartz is the Right Choice for You
Take a peek at some of Hanstone’s most popular products
Did you know that Quartz is the most common mineral on Earth, making up roughly 12% of the Earth’s crust? Rating a seven out of 10 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness, Quartz is one of the hardest components of natural granite. The mineral is non-porous which prevents unwelcome germs, bacteria, and mildew; is durable and stain-resistant; and is heat resistant, scratch-resistant, and eco-friendly.
At RCH Home and Design, we take pride in providing top-quality products and with HanStone Quartz, you can feel assured that you are getting a premium product. HanStone is a Canadian-founded brand, made by Hyundai L&C (Living and Culture) since 2018 and previously by Hanwha Surfaces since 2009. Not only is HanStone a premium Quartz product, but the company also is committed to an eco-conscious approach in product development, waste management, and conservation efforts. HanStone is GREENGAURD certified which means that their products are proven to meet the world’s most rigorous, third-party emission standards. You can feel safe knowing that you have HanStone products in your home.
HanStone has been experiencing a great amount of growth since its conception in 2009. The company underwent a $45 million expansion in 2016 at their London, Ontario facility which increased the company’s production capacity and enabled HanStone to invest in the latest proprietary, Breton ™ technologies. Together, the companies have launched two new innovative Quartz collections: Boutique and Unearthed. The company is also continuing to focus on expanding its North American manufacturing capabilities in order to better serve customers.
One of the most popular HanStone products is the Strato Quartz. A classic and contemporary piece, Strato is a crisp white marble with feathery contrasting amber and gold veining. See photos of the product below:

Two other popular HanStone products are Indian Peal and Silhouette. Indian Peal offers a sense of neutrality and balance with subtle yellow undertones and warm brown accents. Silhouette’s rich sable base is anchored by clean white marbling for a dramatic yet grounding effect. Both pieces, though very different from each other, are absolutely stunning.

How To Use Pinterest To Get Inspiration For Your Home
A great starting point for the designing process
When remodeling or choosing to build your new home, it’s hard to know where to begin. For many people, there are so many styles that seem appealing and it can be difficult to decide what you like best.
Take, for example, cabinets. What color of cabinets will you choose? Would you rather them appear wood-stained or white? Or perhaps, you would like to add a pop of color?
What about flooring? Would you like to have carpet in the house or vinyl flooring? Maybe you would like to have carpet in the bedrooms and vinyl flooring throughout the rest of the house? What about tile in the bathroom.
When you add up all of the decisions, it can become overwhelming. That’s why here at RCH, we suggest that our clients create Pinterest boards for each of the specific rooms in their house. Take for example the Kitchen. When thinking about what you want it to look like, you have to consider what you want for backsplash, flooring, hardware, cabinetry, appliances, etc.
On Pinterest, you are able to create specific mood boards where you can compile all of your inspiration pictures. See the example we created below to give you an idea of what we’re talking about:
Pinterest now also gives you the option to sort pins on a specific board into categories. This is how we chose to sort ours:
By sorting pins into categories such as flooring, hardware, floating shelves, backsplash, and cabinets, you will be able to get a better idea of what you want in each specific space in your home.
If you don’t know how to begin searching, try using these keywords:
