How we started

The idea was brought to life by owner, Raymond Reading, who has had much success as a builder, developer, licensed general contractor, and real estate broker. RCH Custom Homes works with RCH Home & Design to complement and strengthen each business.

With the increase in business since being named “Builder of the Year” in 2018 & 2022 by the Lakes Area Builders Association, Raymond says “The concept of adding the design center really helps streamline the home improvement and building process and allows us to have more quality control. Homeowners have one point of contact and benefit greatly from the business relationships that we’ve worked so hard to maintain. Most lake homes I see need renovations, so it only made perfect sense to add a design element to the mix. We save you time, money, and the headaches that go along with building and remodels.”
