Home Updates to Increase Market Value

Before putting their home on the market, our client wanted to refresh some aspects of the home’s exterior and interior to increase it’s value. The shake-siding was given a fresh coat of paint, giving the house a brand new look! Painting the exterior of a home is a cost effective way to make it appear brand new, without investing in new siding. The kitchen was given an update with new “White Spring” granite counter tops, modern light fixtures, new sink, and faucet. The master bedroom was a little dark, so we repainted and added white honeycomb 2-inch hybrid window treatments, and framed them out with sheer white window panels to let the light in. The master bathroom was updated with new floor tile, new shower and tub tile, counter tops, sinks, and faucets. These changes made it easy for this client to sell their house above market value on the first day it was listed!
